NetPosse.com IDAHO Alert OH: Missing Haflinger/Welsh Pair Driving Ponies – Nov 11, 2009
POSSIBLY SOLD BY DEALER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
More info:
Owner agreed to sell matched pair of HAFLINGER/WELSH cross ponies to friend of a friend. But when that person refused to give info about buyer, they said deal was off. Two days later horses were allegedly stolen from pasture.
This person is supposedly a horse dealer. Horses could have been sold at auction as matched DRIVING PAIR.
Bill (gelding) and Belle (mare) are a matched pair of Dark Chestnut Haflinger/Welsh crosses trained to drive. Bill is trained to ride. Both have a white star on forehead. Bill has cracks in hooves from foundering.
Darla has been trying to find her horses since November and fears the worst. Ponies possibly sold at Sugarcreek or making the auction circuits. Perhaps someone bought the matched pair to drive.
Please go to the link above and:- Print a flyer and post in your community
Contact Darla and let her know she is not searching for Bill & Belle alone. A few words means more than you know. (Contact info on web link above)
These missing horses could be a long distance in a short time period, especially in the auction circuit.
Please pass this to your associations, list groups, council members, friends and ask them to do the same. Don’t forget about public sites like craigslist, livedeal, twitter etc but remember to to link the info to NetPosse.com so people can print the flyer and read the updates.
