how missing: The last time I saw her was January 13th. The boarder called me to say I needed to move her on January 19th. I went to their residence to pick her up on January 26th and she was gone.
I filed a police report January 28th with the Robeson Country Sheriffs Department. The boarder is claiming she escaped, although they have plenty of neighbors who I believe would have reported seeing her if that were true.

markings: Sassy missing from Lumberton NC

  • red roan
  • wide white blaze that covers her nose
  • two white socks on her back legs
  • back left leg’s sock is higher than the back right leg
  • has appaloosa type eyes
  • has whorls (cowlicks) on both sides of her neck
  • has a healing 6inch kick wound on the left side of her neck from her pasture mate.

skills: She’s gaited, which makes her even more unique.

special note: A horse trader in the Lumberton NC area who frequents Bennettesville SC Horse Auction may be responsible for her disappearance. She was being boarded in Lumberton NC and this person has a known association with the boarding facility.
