On March 4th, 2011, we received 28 registered Tennessee Walking Horses from middle TN from a 92 year old man, James McNight, who’s been breeding for 60 years. He says he just can’t take care of them anymore and wanted to make sure they all had a safe place to go. They are all mares. They are up for adoption to approved homes for $200 ea with Registration papers, if applicable. These mares are not saddle trained some may be pregnant. We are trying to place these beauties in homes as soon as possible! They are beautiful horses!
UPDATE:
Pusher, Generator, Merry Go Boy, Ebony Masterpiece, Midnight Sun, Spirit of 78, and more. All needs training, none saddle broke. Most have been used as brood mares. Some are halter broke. Some are young, ages 4 to 23. Beautiful black ones with white blazes, socks, blue roans, sorrels w/ blazes. Old foundation lines.

Do you know if any of the mares are broke to ride?
I am a trainer whose moving to Ethridge in the next few weeks. I am very interested in getting a few horses from you. Im looking for a hard case horse who needs some tlc and training. Im interested in something (gender dosnt matter) the taller the better. Have references if needed. I will have nice pasture and round pen access for training. I have been raising and training for 10 years, and have lots of sucess! I use Clinton Anderson methods, along with alot of patience and consistency.
I am going to be setting up as a trainer in the area as well, but will need another horse for personal use anyway, as my whole family rides! (we are a family of 6- 4 boys! LOL)
I saw a large black horse in the pictures, black is my fav color, but open to anything you might think fits my description.
I NEVER break a horses spirit, I Teach them to work willingly and accept leadership from people…..
