You can help MAHR by fostering one of the many horses we have here at the rescue. Fostering helps defray the costs that occur when horses come in. When fostering a horse, you agree to care for the horse as if your own. You pay for feed, any medical care, worming, farrier work and any other costs that the horse my need. Although, the horse is in your care, MAHR retains ownership and we will continue to find a suitable adopter for the horse. You would agree, to let possible adopters come visit the horse and ride if applicable. If you do decide to adopt the horse, you would have first choice in adoption if all requirements have been met.
